At its heart lies an exceptional Assam oud oil, surrounded by an intricate composition inspired by the legendary Shamama attars of Kannauj. More than fifty carefully selected natural ingredients—including rare spices, aromatic herbs, precious botanicals, flowers, roots, and essential oils sourced from different regions of India—come together in a harmonious blend, each chosen not to overshadow the oud, but to enhance its remarkable depth and character.

Kashmiri saffron lends its golden warmth. Rose from Hasayan contributes a delicate floral elegance. The creation of Oud Festival follows the philosophy of traditional Indian attar-making. The diverse botanicals are slowly co-distilled in copper degs using the age-old Deg Bhapka method, allowing their aromatic vapours to be patiently captured in pure sandalwood oil. This fragrant foundation is then carefully matured with additional spices, selected essential oils, and a sumptuous proportion of precious Assam oud oil. Through a gradual process of gentle heating, resting, and natural maturation over many weeks, the individual ingredients lose their separate identities and evolve into a single, beautifully integrated perfume.
