We, at Indicana Oud, are fully committed to the preservation and protection of Agarwood trees and are involved in activities such as planting back more saplings and trees of Agarwood in its natural habitat of North East India than we utilize for our production. Agarwood trees in India have been graded as an endangered species by CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) after years of uncontrolled cutting because of its huge demand in the international market, especially Middle East, which eventually almost led to its extinction. Indicana Oud is in full compliance with the international guidelines ensuring our future generations will enjoy oud just as we do.
